Complex Flavors traditional wallpaper texture

TRADITIONAL

  • Pros:
Elegant, High-End Look – Offers a rich, luxurious aesthetic often associated with heritage or designer interiors

Soft, Textural Feel – Absorbs light beautifully, giving rooms a warm and cozy ambiance

Long-Lasting When Installed Correctly – Can stay beautiful for years with proper care

    Cons:
More Complex Installation – Requires paste and careful alignment, often best handled by a professional

Not Moisture Resistant – Not ideal for high-humidity areas like bathrooms or kitchens

Difficult to Clean – More delicate surface, which can be damaged by harsh cleaning

Harder to Remove – Especially if applied with strong adhesives or without proper priming

Less Forgiving on Damage – Tears or scuffs may be more noticeable than on vinyl options

  • Traditional wallpaper is crafted from paper or fabric-based materials with a variety of finishes, often requiring paste for installation. It’s ideal for achieving rich, layered looks with timeless patterns, painterly textures, or elegant prints. Because it absorbs ink and light differently than vinyl, it often offers a softer, more luxurious appearance. Traditional wallpaper typically requires more care during installation and maintenance, but the payoff is a refined and elevated aesthetic. We recommend using this type of wallpaper in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and other low-moisture, design-forward spaces where craftsmanship and atmosphere take center stage.
